You knew we couldn't live in the Maine tourist belt and avoid it forever. Instead of the probably more accurate swamp grass, we went with milk chocolate, blueberries, and cashews to flavor this classy homage to Vacationland.

Alpenglow is one of my very favorite words.  It's of German origin, and refers to the bright band of salmon pink that appears across a mountain ridge at sunset.  It's the kind of thing only mountain climbing hippies know about, and my favorite thing to do above the treeline at sunset before descending to camp is drink hot chocolate, so naturally this is a blend of cocoa, vanilla, and patchouli.
