Cure Dates
This is my little list of cure dates, put here to keep everybody informed on what recipes I’ve got on my racks, and when they’ll be available. OK, and a little bit to keep my head straight on what I’ve made and when. Hopefully I’ll be able to keep up with the dates and list new batches in the shop as soon as they’re cured, but I’ve been known to be late. Oops! The second list is of planned batches, so if you have a special request, let me know and I’ll add it. Yay! I love organization. Or at least pretending to be organized…
On the Rack:
- Lavender Oatmeal - 9.6.10
- Almond Biscotti - 9.30.10
- Black Currant Honey - 9.30.10
Next up:
- Oatmeal Milk & Honey
- Orange Blossom
- Blue Skies
- Grass Stain
- Tea Tree & Rosemary
- Chocolate Pomegranate
- Berry Wine
- Bay Rum
- Carrot Cream
- Cookies & Cream
- Gardener’s Herbal (sage, lavender, orange, cornmeal)
- Vanilla Sandalwood

Oh - and let me know when the Hippie Stink materializes…I miss that delicious stench!!!
Also, any chance of Baby Bubbles sans the chamomile? Shira and I are very super allergic.
Thanks!
Let me know when you have lavender and orange! Have you thought about honeysuckle or peppermint? I have your soaps on my brain!
Hehe funny you should ask! Just poured some orange this morning (double batch) and lavender’s next (another double)! Then Porridge, then peppermint, coconut, and violet tomorrow. I’ve been looking for a good honeysuckle for a while, the ones I’ve tried have come out kinda weird and musty, so I’ve been using them in blends.
* Oakmoss
* Tea Tree & Rosemary
* Grass stain
Those sound nice n’ earthy to me! I absolutely love earthy scents.
What will Hippie Juice and Linen Closet smell like?
Thanks Erica! Hippie Juice will be orange and patchouli essential oils swirled with a little iron oxide, and linen closet smells just like wet laundry to me. Or dryer sheets. Or…a linen closet! Think Clean Cotton candles.
Is it possible to make a reservation for scents that will be curing in March? If so, how does that work?
Just emailed you, Erica!
I second the oakmoss and am also a fan of earthy scents. Can’t wait to order grass stain and linen closet!
Okay! I’ll be watching for them! Thanks!
I think patchouli smells like mouldy bread, no offense! Does the orange help?
Haha I’m not a huge fan either, I have to take lots of showers on patchouli day! Nope not really, patchouli’s still pretty obvious. The orange lightens it a little, but it’s still stinky!
Have you thought about doing something with a little tobacco flower thrown in?
If you EVER get sage (preferably desert sage) please let me know. It’s my favorite all time scent and it’s rare in soap form. Not mixed with anything, just plain ol’ sage. Thanks!
I have a couple of ideas for new scents for soaps - what about doing a chocolate goats milksoap? or a sugar lychee / lychee type of soap scent?
I would love dripping green grass! And a tangerine orange blossom combo! Mmmm!!
somehow “ozone” didnt get typed in “ozone dripping green grass” in that last bit….
Hi, I have just fallen in love with your shop and blog! I have eczema and use goats milk soap, will you be making some any time soon? It doesn’t seem to feature in your above list
expect a veeery long order from me once some is available!
Hello again,
I sent you a convo thru Etsy at the end of November about your carrot cream complexion bar. Glad to see it’s on your “to do” list! Love your blog, especially your sense of humor!
I’ll be watching your shop,
Deanna
would you consider ever making shampoo soap bars?
i discovered your etsy site a couple months ago but i don’t ever see anything listed under milk and bee soaps. am i just super slow to get to the new stuff when it shows up on etsy? just curious and really eager to try your soaps. the scents sound awesome and i can’t wait!!!
OMG, chocolate fig soap… sounds like divinity in a bar. From one soaper to another, dat’s da bomb.
Please, please, please can you put Pink Grapefruit on your list? Love the cream and roll on perfume. By the way, maybe others do this, but I have realized that if you put a tiny bit of the roll on in your hands and rub them together, you can run this through your hair to add an additional layer of scent. It works great!
